The Goderich COVID-19, Cold and Flu Care
Centre is open and operational. This is an extension of services offered at the
COVID Community Assessment Centre located above the Michael’s Pharmacy at 181 Cambria
Road, Goderich, Ontario (across the street from AMGH).
This care centre is open for patients with
cold and flu like symptoms that cannot get into see their primary care
provider, but are not considered ‘urgent’ in nature. ‘Urgent’
patients should attend the AMGH Emergency Department.

What is a COVID-19 Clinical Assessment?
An assessment with a physician for those individuals who may qualify for antiviral treatment, or for those individuals who do not qualify for a COVID-19 test, but have symptoms of respiratory illness. For more information see Covid Clinical Assessment Centre Information.
Coronaviruses are spread mainly from person to person through close contact, for example, in a household, workplace or health care centre.
Vaccinations against COVID-19 are now available, contact your Family Practitioner, local pharmacy or Public Health Unit for more information.
Take these everyday steps to reduce exposure to the virus and protect your health:
wash your hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer
sneeze and cough into your sleeve
avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
avoid contact with people who are sick
stay home if you are sick
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. Most patients
experience mild symptoms and recover without treatment. More information on
