The services available within the InterHospital Laboratory Partnership (IHLP) include: Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Blood Bank, Histology, and
Anatomical Pathology. The individual Partner Hospital labs maintain a menu of
tests done on-site. Tests not on their respective test menu are referred to another IHLP
hospital lab with Stratford General acting as a Regional Hub Lab, providing the
majority of centralized testing.
The IHLP accomplishes its objectives through
the coordination of its human, technical and financial resources. Cooperative
Educational Programs are developed and supported to assist in accomplishing the
goals and objectives of the IHLP.
The IHLP strives to build on the strengths of
this innovative, long-standing Regional Program. The IHLP will play an active
role in planning for the Laboratory Services on a local, regional and
provincial basis.
